Event Industry Green Survey (2019)
In 2015, Powerful Thinking, with the AIF and AFO conducted a survey of UK Festivals, asking what sustainability practices they had in place and their aspirations and priorities. The information contributed to the Show Must Go On report (2015) and the launch of Festival Vision: 2025 - a shared vision for a sustainable event industry. In 2016, 2017 and 2018 the survey was repeated to track trends and progress and now, four years on, with almost 100 UK festivals having taken the Festival Vision: 2025 pledge to reduce GHG emission by 50% by 2025, we want to find out and report back, how we are doing as an industry and identify what more we can do to support positive changes. The results will be shared as anonymous aggregate data in the Show Must Go On report 2020, to be launched in December this year.

Please take a moment to complete this survey — all participants will be entered into a raffle to win a free delegate place for the Green Events & Innovations Conference on Tuesday 3rd March 2019 at the ILMC: the ticket includes 5* lunch, and International AGF Awards which take place during the drinks reception the same evening.

Please complete the survey by 30th September. The winner will be announced in October 2019.

YOUR ENTRY IS COMPLETELY CONFIDENTIAL. ONLY AGGREGATE DATA/INFORMATION WILL BE PUBLISHED.

We are currently writing the Show Must Go On Report 2020, an interim report following the 2015 edition, and half way on the journey of reducing impacts by 50% by 2025. An important part of thesis sharing inspiration between events . Please tell us if you have information or results about measures you have taken, data, or any expeirnces to share as a case study.
Nothing is too insignificant - let us know briefly what you can share, and we will follow-up with you.
Your answer
Thanks for taking the Industry Green Survey - we believe sharing information and collaboration is the way we can fundamentally change things toward a better world. We will be in touch with results and details of the winner of the Greener Events and Innovations Conference ticket in January 2020.
