Pineview Community Association is a dynamic, growing, not-for-profit community Association. We are an engaged group of volunteers committed to advocating for a healthy, safe and vibrant community in Pineview.

If you are a passionate about your community and would like to make a difference in your neighbourhood, we’d like to hear from you!

To round our our current board complement, we’re looking for community leaders with skills and experience in a number of areas, up to five (5) new roles on our volunteer Board of Directors.

*COMMUNICATIONS (Bilingual Position)
*FUNDRAISING

VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT: Overseeing volunteer recruitment, on-boarding, engagement and recognition.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT: Overseeing the management of safe and accessible Pineview infrastructures, such as parks, roads, pathways and lighting.

TRAFFIC SAFETY: Overseeing the management of performance management activities, such as evaluation of events and community consultations.

Candidates & Roles:
The Board meetings once a month, with the exception of December and August. Meetings generally last 2 hours.

We’re looking to recruit candidates for five (5) vacancies on our volunteer Board of Directors:

COMMUNICATIONS (Bilingual Position): Overseeing the management external communication activities, including community newsletters, posters, social media as well as management of incoming and outgoing communications through emails and other media, and management of website.

FUNDRAISING: Securing sustainable streams of funding, including grant applications and private sponsorships.

VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT: Overseeing volunteer recruitment, on-boarding, engagement and recognition.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT: Overseeing the management of safe and accessible Pineview infrastructures, such as parks, roads, pathways and lighting.

TRAFFIC SAFETY: Overseeing the management of performance management activities, such as evaluation of events and community consultations.
