You have the flexibility to change your PAWS throughout the semester. Once you have completed your request form, please continue to follow your current schedule until you receive a new schedule indicating your change has been completed. Please note that some classes do fill up and most are only offered on a specific day. Your alternative selection will be assigned if your request is not available, or you will be put on a wait list until a seat opens up in that class. Note, all academic requests are given priority for changes. All other requests are filled on a first come first served basis. Making multiple or duplicate requests slow the process.
To make a change:1. Select the PAWS class you are requesting to drop and the number of days you want to drop that class, if attending both days.2. If there is a second class you are requesting to drop, indicate that class.3. Select the PAWS class you are requesting to add. Review the class list on www.cambridgehs.org to see what days a specific class is offered. Indicate how many days you are requesting this class, if offered more than one day.4. If there is a second class you are requesting to add, indicate that class.5. If you would like to provide an alternative should one or both of your requests are not available, you can provide that selection.
Seniors - For Early Release, please select the early release option. A parent/guardian permission form must also be submitted to the front office.
Students are asked to complete the PAWS request form to advocate for their interest or where they need support. Should a student require support in a specific subject area, the student's teacher, grade-level administrator, or counselor will make a request to have a student's PAWS schedule changed to support that need.
