Help Shape Gallery Theater's 60th Anniversary Season

Gallery Theater is seeking thoughtful, curious, and passionate community members to serve on the Season Proposal Committee and help shape our 2028 season, which will mark Gallery Theater's 60th Anniversary.

The Season Proposal Committee plays a vital role in the season selection process. Committee members review submitted show proposals, read scripts, attend proposal presentations, engage in thoughtful discussion, and work collaboratively to recommend a balanced, exciting, and achievable season for Board approval.

This year, we have two open positions on the committee. No special experience is required. We welcome a variety of perspectives from performers, directors, technicians, volunteers, audience members, and theater supporters. All that's needed is a love of theater, an open mind, a collaborative spirit, and the willingness to dedicate time to reading and discussion.

Timeline

• Applications Close: July 11, 2026

• Selected Members Notified: By August 4, 2026

• Committee Work Begins: September 2026

The committee meets once per month from September through January and twice per month from February through April. Additional script reading and proposal review is required outside of meetings, particularly during the February through April period.

Serving on the Season Proposal Committee is a unique opportunity to help guide the artistic future of Gallery Theater and contribute to a season that will celebrate six decades of storytelling, creativity, and community.
