What is FUSE?
FUSE=Faith Unleashed to Serve and Educate
The theme for our winter FUSE is 'Following Dr. King.'
Monday, January 20 from 9am-12pm (meet at First Pres at 7:30am to carpool)
Want a great way to celebrate the life and Christian legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr? Join us as we take a trip to the city to join with hundreds of other Christians from more than 50 churches across lines of race and denomination for a morning of worship, prayer, testimony, and putting our faith in action on issues of social justice. A group from our sister church, Hope Presbyterian, will be joining us for the day also.
The assembly ends at noon, but we invite anyone who is able to stick around to enjoy lunch together at a nearby restaurant and reflect on our experience of the day and our call to justice as Christians. (We can arrange for a carpool group that heads home right after the Assembly if need be.)
I plan to participate in the MLK Assembly on Jan 20
