Moppet Preschool Application Form 2026

Key information and dates:
  1. Your child must be registered on Waterloo Region OneList to be considered for a spot 
  2. Current family registration: Wednesday, March 3rd, 2027 via email
  3. For all ALUMNI and NEW families, registration will take place online via email. A registration request will be sent via email to alumni families on Monday, March 8th, 2027. Registration requests will be sent via email to new families beginning on Thursday, March 11th, 2027. Families will have 48 hours to return the completed application form and $21 membership fee
Preschool Class
  • Open to children between 2.5 to 4 years old at the start of program 
  • 5 hour 20 minutes class runs 9:10 am to 2:30 pm
  • 5 DAY option (Monday – Friday) 
  • 3 DAY option (Tuesday – Thursday) 
  • Tuesday – Thursday is a mix of the 3 and 5 day students for a total of 16 children
  • Maximum 16 students
  • Taught by three Registered ECE teachers
Registration details
  • Registration is first open to families with currently enrolled students on a first come, first served basis, followed by Moppet alumni, and then new families. The order of Alumni/New family registration will be based on Application Date on OneList. Registration continues until all spots are filled.
  • Once spaces are filled, a wait list will be maintained.
  • Registration packages will be distributed in late spring. A mandatory Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held in the spring for the upcoming year. Should paperwork not be received by this time, Moppet will assume that your family has withdrawn from the program. Please let us know if you intend to withdraw as soon as possible.
Responsibilities

Moppet is run as a co-operative by the parents and requires parental involvement to make it the amazing program that it is! Each family has a role in our school, whether that is serving as one of our 6 Board of Directors, or being a part of the parent committee that helps support the program in other ways.

Lunch & Snack:
A lunch & nutritious snack is included in all class fees and will be provided by the teachers.

Preschool monthly fees:
  • 3 DAY option: $145.80/month.
  • 5 DAY option: $216.00/month
