15th International Precipitation Conference: Asia Virtual Workshop "Monsoon Precipitation: Challenges, Innovations, and the Way Forward"

We are delighted to announce the IPC15 Asia pre-conference virtual workshop that will be held on 

June 2nd 11 am to 1pm JST & KST / 7:30 am to 9:30 am IST / 10 am to 12 pm Taiwan Standard Time /June 1st 8 pm to 10 pm MDT as a part of the 15th International Precipitation Conference (IPC15, https://www.precipitationconference.org). 

This workshop will focus on the IPC15 theme “Harnessing the data revolution for precipitation estimation and prediction across scales and regimes.” with a specific emphasis on the Monsoon Precipitation: Challenges, Innovations, and the Way Forward

The workshop aims to bring together scientists and practitioners from leading research organizations,  to provide a platform to discuss past and present efforts as well as challenges faced by each. The goal is to define together research directions in precipitation science and applications and plan future initiatives with an emphasis on encouraging collaborations between different communities within asia and beyond.
