2020 WMC Annual Conference Speaker Proposal
The Wisconsin Mathematics Council Invites you to share your teaching ideas and practices by presenting at the 52nd Annual Conference on May 7-8, 2020 in Green Lake, Wisconsin.

The Call for Proposals for the 2020 WMC Annual Conference will be open through October 15, 2019. All submitters will be notified via email of their proposal status by December 1, 2019. If accepted, lead speakers must confirm the invitation to present (title, description, time and date) by February 1, 2020. Only the lead speaker will receive a free one-day registration for the day they are presenting. Lead speakers must register for the conference prior to March 1, 2020.

All presentations rooms will be pre-set with 1 LCD projector and 1 screen. Presenters are required to use their own laptops, speakers, or other audio/visual equipment.

This year's focus is on equity in mathematics education. As such, we are looking for presentations that highlight the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics Access and Equity essential element: "An excellent mathematics program requires all students to have access to high-quality mathematics curriculum, effective teaching and learning, high expectations and the support and resources needed to maximize their learning potential" (NCTM, 2010).

Please email WMC at wmc@wismath.org if you have any questions regarding the speaker proposal.
