All volunteers will receive an online orientation manual and will be asked to attend an orientation/training in the days prior to the Festival. All roles take place at the Historic Crystal Palace and surrounding Picton fairgrounds, in picturesque Prince Edward County.
Small groups and families are encouraged to apply! We do practice first-come-first-served and work to find best fit for roles. As such, we cannot guarantee placement on the same shift as friends/family. Volunteer shifts vary in length depending on the role but all volunteers will have the opportunity to take breaks during the event!
Perks for volunteers include: festival t-shirt, lunch, admission to the festival, access to tasting over 100 Canadian cheeses and of course being part of the gloriously magnificent event that is The Great Canadian Cheese Festival. Volunteers who sign up for 11+hours will also receive complimentary entrance to the Saturday evening event.
