This year’s theme, “Integrated Student Support: A Holistic Approach", continues to focus on UHCC's progress toward increasing student success through appropriate policies, effective strategies, and improved services to students including the Student Success Pathways. With that in mind, HSSI 2019 is open to a variety of presentations that will appeal to the broad sectors of the University of Hawai'i Community Colleges. Target audiences include: executives/managers, faculty/lecturers, APT (Administrative, Professional and Technical), Civil Service (white and blue collar), and others.
Workshop strands include: Student Support (Guided Pathways, Advising Redesign, Financial Literacy, etc.); Teaching and Learning; Data and Technology; Engagement and Communication; Change Management; Institutional Support; Professional and Personal Development.
Proposals due date extended to December 7, 2018. Proposals will be reviewed and notification of your status will be sent out by December 2018.
Presentations will be 50 minutes. Total time includes questions and answers period.
Presenters should anticipate an audience size of about 40 participants.
All presenters must be registered for the 2019 Hawai'i Student Success Institute.
