A committee of teachers and administrators will meet the 1st week of each month. Please have appeals submitted before then to be considered in and given a response in a timely manner.

Please provide a short letter describing the nature of the absences and progress the student is currently making to attend school now.
Please also address steps the student has taken to make-up lost course time as a result of excessive absences.

If there is a medical concern for the student, please ensure that documentation has been provided to our attendance clerk already. (Students are allotted only 8 absences, excuses or unexcused, per semester by the state of Texas.)
