We are so excited about your interest in learning more about fruit production and care!
If you currently care for public fruit trees, have just planted an orchard with us, or would like to volunteer at a community orchard, this training is for you!
The training series is designed to have at least 2 separate times for each session in order to fit everyone in the classroom space we have. While we think it is possible to learn all you need to by attending one of each session, we recognize how long it really takes to integrate this information. Therefore, the rule of thumb here is that you may come back to the same session in different years, miss a session and pick it up next year, or even come to both in one year! Learn at your own pace and come back until you feel you grasp the full concept. This training plus a monthly newsletter should get you on the path of how to care for your community fruit trees.
This training is NOT for the average backyard orchardist. If you are interested in learning how to care for your own PERSONAL fruit trees, we will offer a paid training over a weekend in May or June. For now, this training is only for those who are caring for public and community based fruit trees. If you would like to take responsibility for a public orchard, please email
info@commonorchard.com to ask about where to connect in!
Please read the Schedule CAREFULLY, this is a course over a long time period and presenting the information in a chronological fashion is a challenge.
