Apply to serve on one of the committees for the State Convention. 

Committee Information: 
Committee members are chosen by the Central Committee based on experience, enthusiasm, and merit. Committees typically consist of 5-15 members. A chair of the committee is chosen to set and lead meetings. Meetings are held both in person and virtually.  Committees shall establish a report for the 2025 Convention, committee members are not required to hold a delegate status to the 2025 Convention. 

Committee Duties: 
ADA & Accommodations Committee - Works with the State Party Staff, Convention Site Staff, and Security teams in ensuring the State Convention is accessible for all. Develops strategies and policies for on site accommodations for attendees of the Convention. Helps to ensure proper mapping and signage are made prior to the convention.

Arrangements - Works directly with the State Party Staff to establish a welcoming environment at convention, help obtain necessary supplies, and assist in the planning of fundraiser at and for the event. 

Constitution & Bylaws - Reviews all proposed changes the State Party receives, proposes its own initiative, revise and draft proposed changes, recommend the adoptions within the report, work with state party staff to make the report available. 

Credentials Committee - Consists of both volunteers and delegates, prepares a list of delegates, hears challenges to delegates seated at convention, makes prior arrangements for an orderly process to distribute credentials, including alphabetizing and coordinating at the county/congressional district level, work with staff to prepare credentials "badge", record and review/record proxy statements, remain open until the adjournment of the convention meeting, and make revised reports to the convention as needed. 

Resolutions - Review resolutions to the convention, propose resolutions on the initiative of its members, revise and draft resolutions, recommend the adoption of resolutions, work with staff to make the resolutions report available to delegates. 

Rules - Decide such rules as may be necessary to the orderly conduct of the meeting, such rules shall be consistent with the Constitution and Bylaws of the ODP, work directly with staff to make the Rules for convention available to delegates.
