Why CHIP matters to me
Last fall, Congress failed to reauthorize CHIP, the children's health insurance program. As of today, Congress still has not provided sustainable funding for this vital program. Millions of kids around the country are at risk of losing their health care coverage as states, like Montana, will soon run out of funding. Over 30% of Montana children rely on CHIP and Healthy Montana Kids to cover their children's medical costs.

Congress's inaction to provide long-term funding for CHIP is threatening the health and safety of our children, families, and communities. Your representatives in Congress need to hear from real Montana families about what the CHIP health care program means to you, your family, and your community.
