Event Address: From Thornton Heath High Street Job Centre, Salvation Army and Whitehorse roundabout.
APPLICATIONS MUST BE completed by applications March 16th (this includes payment or you WON'T secure a guaranteed space).
The Thornton Heath Community Action Team is leading a three-month street market pilot which was launched in December with a festive extravaganza offering arts and crafts, along with locally sourced food, children’s workshops, festive music, Santa’s grotto and an ice rink.
We are inviting applications from local artists, designers, artisans and food sellers. Also good quality bric a brac along with stallholders wanting to sell plants and flowers.
Please be aware that the market will coincide with a Crystal Palace home match against Liverpool. It is an early 12.30pm kick off so there will be lots of hungry football fans walking to and from the ground offering lots of business.
We don't provide generators or access to electricity. This has to be done at the discretion of the stallholder(s).
Food vendors serving hot food MUST have access to a fire extinguisher and fire blanket.
Thornton Heath has its own newspaper - The Thornton Heath Chronicle www.thorntonheathchronicle.co.uk - where you can read regular updates about the market
If your application is successful we will inform you by e-mail together with a link to pay the fee by BACS. Any questions can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org
