2025 Merck-MBG Biologics and Vaccines Symposium Abstract Submission Form
The MIT Biotech Group (MBG) is excited to announce the second annual Merck-MBG Biologics and Vaccines Symposium on Thursday, October 16th, 2025 in the iHQ Hacker Reactor (Floor 7 of MIT Building E38 at 292 Main Street).

We are seeking poster presentations and rapid-fire (10-minute) talk presentations from MIT grad students and postdocs for the Symposium. Please fill out this form by Monday, September 22nd 11:59 PM to be considered! Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and selected presenters will be notified.

We will have cash prizes for the top 3 posters and the best rapid-fire talk!


The tentative schedule for the Symposium is:

9:20 AM - 10:00 AM — Time for poster presenters to set up

10:00 AM - 10:45 AM — Welcome and Introduction: Representatives from MBG and three Merck departments will provide a brief overview of their respective organizations.

10:45 AM - 11:45 AM — Poster Session: MIT graduate students and postdocs as well as Merck representatives will showcase their research.

12:00 PM - 1:00 PM — Keynote Lecture (lunch will be provided) 

1:15 PM - 2:30 PM — Rapid-Fire Talks: MIT graduate students and postdocs will present their research in 10-minute talks followed by 5-minute Q&A periods.

2:45 PM - 4:00 PM — Career Panel: Representatives from different Merck departments will offer insights into their experience with scientific training, career development opportunities, and the transition from academia to industry.

4:00 PM - 5:00 PM — Networking
