On January 22, 2023, almost 100 Obies met to form a new organization, Alumni for Oberlin Values (AOV), to find ways to help Oberlin remain firmly committed to its historic values, especially in regard to transparency, intellectual honesty, and commitment to social justice. We need a place to discuss how we, as concerned alumni, can join together and enable our voices not only to be heard, but listened to. Will you join us?

Please indicate the skills and interests you’d be willing to put to use. We’d like to have a group of people who, for example, can work on social media. When there’s a particular task or project, the steering committee will put out a call to that group to see who’s willing to take it on.

This is an expression of interest, not a long-term commitment.
