Our bands in Round Rock are strong because of an excellent program of private lessons for young players. These lessons are taught by professionals on each instrument that are background checked and vetted by the district. Lessons allow students to progress faster because they get targeted instruction for what they need

Schedule
We work to have students take their lessons on campus during their band class. When that is not possible, we then look at before or after school and have used Advisory time when necessary. Our goal is to keep you from having to drive all over town in the evenings or weekends.

Cost
Individual Weekly Lessons for half a period are $20-25 a week/lesson contingent upon the instructor's experience. Fees are paid directly to the teacher at the start of each month. We also have some resources to assist with lessons from our Stony Point Area Band Boosters association (remember the concessions bit?).

On this form, please let us know if you have the desire for your student to study with a private instructor. If you are concerned about cost, let us know what you can contribute and give us the chance to come up with creative solutions to help all of our players grow.
