Many thanks for your interest in the
Cambridge Climate Society (CCS) Mentorship Program! The program
gives students a chance to learn from and network with climate experts and practitioners from diverse sectors and backgrounds, by setting up a one-on-one pairing between each student and mentor. Your mentor will be able to give you climate career guidance via calls throughout the academic year.
A selection of our current mentors is shown on our website here. We will continue to add new mentors and accept new mentees on a rolling basis throughout the year!
Due to the high interest of students interested in receiving mentorship,
we are asking that students submit a short statement of interest and
biography. Please note that mentors will be deciding who they want to mentor directly from the answers given to this form - so please include sufficient detail and enthusiasm to ensure you can get a match!
As as a mentee, it will you be your responsibility to reach out to your
paired mentor upon introduction to sustain discussion. It will then be up to you and your mentor to establish an agreement on
the frequency of your mentorship and relationship. This is an opportunity for you
to ask more about what they do, advice on post-university plans, how to get
engaged in the climate sector, etc.
