We are hitting the refresh button and exploring what equity means in the English classroom. We are putting together dynamic workshops and speakers, including our keynote speaker Lorena Germán, the chairperson of NCTE's Committee Against Racism and Bias in the Teaching of English. Given all that has happened in our world this year, our online conference is timely as teachers are eagerly absorbing all they can on how we as educators can ensure equity in the English classroom, and Ms.Germán is a dynamo in this area.  We are thrilled to have her offering our featured  workshop this year.
