Adoption Application/Contract
All animals will be held for an applicant for 24 hours. If the application and fee is not received by 4 Paws within 24 hours or other arrangements have not been made the animal will be put back up for adoption. At that time the next application in line will be considered for the adoption of this animal.  

All adoptions are contingent upon approval of your application.  The adoption fee is due at the time of adoption. The fee may also be paid by Pay Pal at 4pawsruston@gmail.com, or by check or cash. The adoption fee is $160.00 and is non-refundable.

Some of the rescued dogs have been backyard dogs and not house-trained. Have you ever house-trained a dog before? *
Even some house-trained dogs will have accidents in the house for a while after they come into an unfamiliar home. What steps will you take to help your dog avoid such accidents? *
Some rescued dogs have separation anxiety, would you be willing to work with the dog if this is a problem? *
Some rescued dogs have been physically abused and are extremely timid and have a condition called "submissive urination."  Usually this condition lasts only a few days.  Once the dog knows he is in a home where he will not be beaten or abused, his self-esteem and confidence return, this problem usually leaves. If it does not, are you willing to read some information on behavior modification to help the dog overcome this condition?     *
