Adoption Application

By submitting this application, I understand that this does not guarantee that I can adopt from Bakersfield Boxers & Bullies Rescue. Upon review of my application, a BBBR representative may contact me with further questions to determine if I am eligible to adopt. My home must also pass a "home check" to confirm that the yard and living arrangements are safe and productive for the dog. My other pets will also be checked for health and acceptance of the new dog.

Bakersfield Boxers & Bullies Rescue takes careful review of all applicants. It is our desire to place animals in the best homes with owners who have healthy and loving views about their pets. We in no way condone kenneling/crating dogs for long periods of time (ie all day, every day), chaining dogs in the yard, keeping them outside in extreme weather, or leaving them alone with no exercise, excitement, or socialization in their lives. All dogs need to be stimulated and thier talents need to be taken advantage of. All of our rescue dogs are neutered/spayed, current on rabies vaccinations, micro-chipped, and puppies do receive their full vaccinations.
 
By submitting this application I am authorizing Bakersfield Boxers & Bullies Rescue to contact:
- My landlord to ensure that I have his/her permission to keep pets on the premises
- My veterinarian(s) to check the care provided to previously and/or current pets, and to check spy/neuter history
- My references provided

I certify that the statements made on this application  are true and accurate to the best of my knowledge. I understand that false statements may lead to the rejection of this application for adoption.
