April 2024 Day of Mindfulness in Little Saigon

Monastics and members of our Little Saigon sangha recently had the opportunity to visit monuments commemorating the Vietnamese American experience. In particular, exploring the Boat People Memorial, we were reminded of both the trauma and resilience within our community.

Inspired by this visit, we will host a Day of Mindfulness, supported by monastics from Deer Park Monastery, to commemorate Vietnamese refugees. As a Vietnamese American sangha, we hold special reverence for this event, recognizing its significance as we navigate and heal from the generational trauma of war and its aftermath.

We warmly welcome you, especially those who identify as First Generation, Second Generation, or Generation 1.5 immigrants, to join us.

Please fill out the following registration form per person attending. Please help us by registering no later than Thursday April 25, 2024.
