Help your students establish pilina, a deeply founded relationship with Hawai’i, the ’aina, the wai, and the wahi pana storied place of the Ahupua’a of Waimea.

Here at Waimea Valley, we specialize in bringing your classroom outdoors. Students will be able to experience place-based knowledge through kilo, observation skills and immersive educational experiences.

Nā Pāʻani Kahiko, Ancient Hawaiian Games Available for All ages pax 100 students

Ke Awāwa o Waimea, The Valley of Waimea Available for All ages pax 100 students

`Ᾱkoakoa, Custom Program for Large Groups Available for All ages pax 200

Pūlama Nā Kūpuna, Cherish the Elders Available for Seniors pax 60 adults

Ho‘owehe Ka ‘Ike: The Educators Tour Available for Teachers

Kāʻanalike: Outreach Program Available for All Ages

How many students will be attending?

Please make sure to note the maximum capacities of each program. If you are over capacity please consider splitting the group and reserving an additional date for a field trip

Cost is $5.00 per Student

How many chaperones will be attending?

All required Chaperones receive a complementary admission as well as any required nurses or 1 on 1 aides.

The ratio of Students per required Adult Chaperones is

1 Adult Chaperone to every 5 students aged Pre - K to 1st grade
1 Adult Chaperone to every 10 students aged 2nd - College

If there are more chaperones than the required amount the cost is $6.00 per additional chaperone
