Thank you for your interest in a private group tour of the Waterfront Museum.
This form is not for Field Trips.
Our capacity from May to November is 149. From November to April it is 50.
You definitely need a bus to get a group here. Bike tours also do well, however visitor bikes are not allowed on the barge and there are only four inverted U bike racks on Pier 44. Coming by Ferry is a good option for groups as well.
Arrangements for a powerpoint presentation and the captain’s Serious Foolishness entertainment can also be arranged.
Group Tours cost $20 per person with a $300 minimum. There are discounts for seniors and people with disabilities.
The barge has only one rustic restroom, please have guests go to the bathroom before coming.
Sorry, no eating on the boat but you are welcome to eat on the pier, which is exposed to the weather.
If your guests are interested in merchandise, we have a few gift shop items I can offer
- $1 postcard
- $2 tug and barge tattoo
- $12 set of three juggling balls.
We never offer merchandise without prior approval.
I am happy to discuss details on the phone if you like.
I have plenty of free times and we can put our calendars together to find one that works for all.
