United States Fish and Wildlife Service will be hosting an educational workshop facilitated by the North American Lead-free Partnership on Sunday, July 12th, 2026 at the Cat Point Creek Unit Lodge, 2570 Newland Road, Warsaw, Virginia 22572. The goal of this session is to provide information in an interactive setting about the best available science on modern hunting ammunition, compare ballistics first hand through live range demonstrations, and discuss practical concerns (i.e., ammunition price and availability). The event will run from 9:00am-3:00pm beginning with a classroom segment and will follow with a live ballistics demonstration on-site. Please note that the ballistics demonstration will be held after lunch and is a short walk from the classroom.
