Faith-based organizations are central to our communities and are geographically well-positioned to be the home of future electric vehicle infrastructure. Electric Vehicle charging at our places of worship can help us reach out, engage and support families in our community by providing an in-demand amenity.
This survey intends to explore the level of interest from Maritime (NB, NS, PEI) faith-based organizations on adding electric vehicle charging infrastructure to their parking lots and serves to collect general questions these groups have.
Background Information: Canada plans to ban the sale of new gas and diesel cars by 2035. Following this, all new car sales will be Electric Vehicles. With this comes an increased demand for Electric Vehicle charging locations. The existing infrastructure for electric vehicle chargers must expand to meet the growing demand. This project aims to provide faith-based organizations with the opportunity to benefit from this infrastructure expansion.
EV chargers can provide a modest source of income for your organization and advances our global journey towards carbon neutrality.
