Rainbow Summer Program is looking for interns for its 6-week summer educational enrichment program, which serves approximately 80 children (grades K–8). Curriculum emphasis includes reading, engineering, entrepreneurship, anti-bullying, parental involvement and social action. College-aged young people and recent college graduates play a key role in the programs as Interns - classroom teachers. Interns are responsible for the front-line care and nurturing of the children. Using our curriculum model, interns serve as facilitators in the classroom. Interns are selected for their energy, enthusiasm, sense of commitment, and willingness to work hard on behalf of children in a spirit of servant leadership.
Sharing Community in Rosedale is the sponsoring organization for the summer program. The school operates at Rainbow Mennonite Church.
