Animal rescuers Sally, Taj, Carla, and Joe are being charged with felony grand theft, felony conspiracy, misdemeanor trespass, and up to 6.5 years in prison for saving the lives of two sick baby goats, Phoebe and Celia. Phoebe and Celia were suffering at a factory farm that produces milk for the nation’s largest goat milk brand, Meyenberg, which is marketed as “Certified Humane” and sold at Whole Foods. They had respiratory infections and would likely have ended up in the facility’s horrific and illegal dead piles. These charges are an attempt to cover up the suffering of animals and repress those who are brave enough to rescue them. 


The trial starts on ___ and will likely last about ___ weeks. It will take place at the Kings County Superior Court at 1640 Kings County Dr, Hanford, CA. If you can only come for one day, we encourage folks to come on Friday, ___. There will be a march for animals the following day, Saturday ____.
