Registration for SEL in Action: Learn, Grow and Connect Webinar with Dr. Aminah Pilgrim on March 30, 2022 (7-8:30pm ET)
This series of lightly facilitated, virtual sessions will create space for educators to come together to learn about topics related to SEL and Equity, talk through their innovative ideas and best practices, and explore how to transfer their ideas into their classrooms and their grants.

Session Description: What does it mean to use self reflection to expand our adult SEL toolboxes and build best practices as educators? How can you build your SEL practice with fellow educators and students? This is especially hard for those concerned with equity during the current political climate, but it can be done. Join us March 30, 2022 from 7-8:30pm ET and learn alongside author and researcher, Dr. Aminah Pilgrim. Discuss how self-reflection informs transformational teaching for educators. Dr. Pilgrim will draw from her work and stories about her community in Brockton—a community recognized for its multilingual youth—to build SEL buy-in. Additionally, she will share learnings from her recent publication, Systemic Racism 101: A Visual History of the Impact of Racism in America. Registrants will receive a complimentary copy of Dr. Pilgrim’s book!
