Peer Allies Through Honors Mentor Application

Become part of a dynamic and exclusive group of Honors students who serve as mentors for incoming Honors first-year students. Join the PATH community and form a meaningful mentor relationship with a first-year student, while deepening your experience as a University of Connecticut Honors student through this unique peer leadership opportunity.

Prerequisites for PATH Mentors:

• Good standing with the University of Connecticut Honors Program
• High academic and social commitment to the University of Connecticut
• History of and continuing interest in peer leadership
• 1-2 hours of free time per weekn
• Loyalty, energy, and passion

Requirements for PATH Mentors:

• Devote of time and energy towards forming a bond with your mentee
• Attend expected at the PATH training sessions in August 2017
• Dedicate of at least 1-2 hours per week during the Fall 2017 semester to spend with your mentee
• Attend of PATH social events and activities
• Communicate regularly with your assigned PATH coordinator
• Respond to emails and assessment tools (surveys, HuskyCT, etc)
• Maintain an online journal
