You are invited to participate in a research study on social media use surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic. Please read this form and ask any questions you may have before agreeing to participate in the study.

I am conducting this study under the direction of Dr. John Buri, who is a Professor in the Psychology Department at the University of St. Thomas. This study is being done as part of the requirements for my Research Methods (PSYC 212) course. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between social media use rates during and after the Covid-19 pandemic and several other variables. It should take you approximately ten minutes to participate in this study.

All data obtained in this study will be kept confidential. In any sort of report that might be written based upon the results of the study, no information will be included that would allow the identification of any participant. If you decide to participate, you are free to withdraw at any time.
