KFAI International Women's Day 2019: Program Proposal

KFAI is celebrating women, non-binary and femme-identified voices in March as part of International Women’s Day 2018 - and we need your help!

Want to share your insights or talent? Apply to host your own hour of programming on KFAI!

Women, non-binary and femme-identified members of the community are encouraged to contribute in the form of a talk, music, audio documentary, feature, performance or reading that will be scheduled through the month. Your show can be pre-recorded or live on air! And of course, if need be, engineers will be provided.

KFAI is encouraging all women, non-binary and femme members of the community to apply.

Programs this year will be featured throughout the month of March to celebrate Women's History Month and International Women's Day on Thursday, March 8th.The theme for International Women’s Day 2019, which will take place on March 8th, is “Think equal, build smart, innovate for change”. Programs are not required to follow that theme.

International Women's Day is not country, group or organization specific. The day belongs to all groups collectively everywhere. So together, let's all be tenacious in accelerating gender parity.

If you need help with your proposal, please contact acting program director Mason Butler at mason@kfai.org

The default show length is one hour; however, KFAI retains the discretion to approve a show for a shorter or longer run-time.
