Public Consultation on MRS-IMPRESS Guidance
IMPRESS: the UK’s independent press regulator is working in partnership with the Market Research Society (MRS) on new guidance for journalists about how to report on research results and opinion polls. The experts at MRS, together with IMPRESS, have prepared a draft guidance document on which we have consulted with experts in the media and public opinion sectors. This is now your opportunity to participate in the consultation process.
Thank you for taking the time to review the guidance and for providing a response to the consultation.
We have provided you with an opportunity to provide general feedback and to identify if you support or oppose the recommendations set out in the guidance.
Please also tell us if you think anything requires amendment, deletion or addition in relation to the areas under review in this consultation exercise. We would find it very helpful if you provide the reasons for your comments and suggestions for improvement and/or clarification.
If you have further questions or any feedback on the consultation process, please email:
ATTN: IMPRESS CONSULTATION 2019.
This consultation was launched on 6 November 2019 and will remain open for two weeks until 20 November 2019.
