Participate in a Paid Research Study for Diabetes

UserWise is a human factors consultancy that partners with medical device companies to develop safe and user-friendly medical devices by conducting usability studies. The usability study will be compensated and will focus on how the user interacts with the device and is not a clinical trial. We need your help to guide manufacturers in the design of a safe and easy-to-use medical device!

We are looking for:

  • Adults (18+ years old) who are medically diagnosed with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes
  • Adolescents (12-17 years old) who are medically diagnosed with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes
  • Caregivers of children (2-11 years old) who are a medically diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes

Usability Study Details:
  • Dates: August 22 - September 29, 2023 (Multiple dates and times available
  • Length: 4.5 hours (including 1-hour break)
  • Location: In-person at one of two addresses available 
  • Address 1 (California): 10 Almaden Boulevard, San Jose, CA 95113
  • Address 2 (Massachusetts): 125 Cambridge Park Drive, Cambridge, MA 02140
  • Incentive: $260

This study is not testing your performance, but rather the performance of the device. This study is non-invasive, and the device will not be actively used on you or anyone else during the session.
