Veterans Show - July First Friday
The Lebanon Valley Council on the Arts has sponsored an exhibition of work by Veterans of the Nation's Armed Services and Coastguard this past few years. The exhibition is open to those who served and all will be honored at the reception for their work during the Lebanon Art Walk, 5:00 to 8:00 PM on the First Friday of July this year. There are no entry fees and the work will be shown in the gallery at 770 Cumberland Street throughout the month of July. Work should be dropped off between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM on the last Saturday of June to be installed in time for the First Friday opening. You may pick up your artwork the last Saturday of July at the same times. If you would like to participate but are unable to get your work to us at these times, please email us for options. lebanonartscouncil@gmail.com
You may show up to 8 pieces. We will try to display all the work that space and artistic merit allows.
We prefer two-dimensional work be framed and strung with picture wire, however we have a number of hook and chain hangers to accommodate pieces that have saw-tooth or eyelet hangers. If your 3D work has special display needs, let us know in the notes field at the end of the form.
All work should be priced even if you do not intend to sell it, (we need an insurance value). Should you sell anything you will be charged a commission by the Arts Council. The Members commission is 25% of the sale price, Non-Members pay 35%. If you wish to join the council or update your membership, download the membership form at www.lebanonartscouncil.org
