Opening Checklist - OLD
Please complete all of the following BEFORE opening the store for the day. The order they are laid out below, is the suggested order in which they are done. Please put your name in the box as the person who completed the task.
Turn on the BIG Point of Sale and start the Lightspeed Retail. *
Use Nappy Shoppe login. Password is braden1. Open LightSpeed Point of sale in Firefox. https://cloud.merchantos.com/login.html Login is sales@nappyshoppe.com and password is braden1. Select Plano as your store, and then Plano 1 as your register for the main POS.

Clock in via the time clock *
Every person is required to write down here that they clocked in to the time clock behind the register.

Put the receipt that gets printed into the cash bag for that day and put the cash bag back in the drawer for tonight. DO NOT USE THE "EXTRA" FEATURE. Please count the bills and put each bill into the screen.

Take the print outs of the online orders and attach them to the small plastic baskets with clips. Pull the items required for the orders, and place the orders in the shipping area of the office. Please write on the invoice "Pulled by YOURNAME"

Make sure the counter is clear of debris. NO BROCHURES on the counter please. This area is reserved for food stuffs, coffee etc. Make sure the sink is clean.

Make sure the coffee stand is full of a variety of coffees. Make sure there is some half and halfs in the little bucket. And make sure there is a variety of sweetners in the little bucket. Top up the water in the coffee maker. Make sure there are plenty of clean cups available. Make sure there are NO dirty cups left.

Make sure there is no soil on the toilets, or that there is no paper mess. Make sure the changing tables are clean. The toilets are cleaned by a cleaner, but you need to make sure there is no mess.

Tell Alexa to do the music *
There are two Alexa units in the store. One in the front room on top of one of the stripper poles and the other one is outside the office on the shelf. Choose a theme of music, one appropriate for the store. For instance, during the holiday season, say ALEXA PLAY HOLIDAY MUSIC. A safe choice is ALEXA PLAY 90's MUSIC. You need to do this for each player. Make sure the volume is not so loud that you hear both units at once. At this point we cannot sync the music.

Walk the store floor and check for any empty shelves, pegs etc. We do not want empty space. If a product has sold out, move another product across to take up the space.
