Every day personal care service caregivers touch the lives of over 32,000 New Mexicans. What concepts does your organization have to promote the mental health and well-being of your members or the caregivers that serve them? With funding from Blue Cross Blue Shield, the association has mental health innovation grant dollars to
support proposals developed by PCS agencies to support PCS caregiver and/or client mental
wellbeing.
Grant dollars may not be used to pay for services that are covered
by New Mexico Medicaid and otherwise billable by the agency. Agencies may apply
for an innovation grant for up
$25,000 to launch or build a program that supports PCS caregiver and/or
client well-being.
Applications must include a summary of the program, program milestones and metrics, and an estimated accounting of how grant dollars will be spent.
Recipients of the grant agree that they may be required to submit documentation
demonstrating how grant dollars were spent.
