2Ask a teacher who has taught you during your junior or senior year to write a letter of recommendation in which he/she discusses your potential, work ethic, motivation, commitment to task and why he/she recommends you specifically. The teacher will then email the letter to reddevilscholarship@gmail.com.  The subject line shall have your name in the following format Recommendation for JOHN A. SMITH. The recommendations are also due April 17.  BECAUSE SCHOOL AND LIVES WERE INTERRUPTED THE WEEK OF APRIL 1-5, THAT DEADLINE IS EXTENDED TO APRIL 20.

Some vital information is to be submitted in paper form. Read directions carefully.

In addition to completing and submitting this form, high school seniors must also submit  a written recommendation from one of your teachers and  transcript of your grades for seven semesters. By April 3, ask your counselor BY EMAIL to prepare your transcript. He/she will turn in all the transcripts at the same time, so you should check after the spring break to se if your message was received. The principal's recommendation will also be  collected by the guidance counselor who will deliver those documents to the selection committee.

RENEWAL APPLICANTS DO NOT NEED TO SUBMIT A TRANSCRIPT SINCE GRADES FOR THE FIRST TERM HAVE ALREADY BEEN TURNED IN.  If you did not submit your grades, you are not eligible. If you had a scholarship in 2022-23 but did not apply for the current term, you will have to submit grades to reddevilscholarship@gmail.com.
