Community Meetings on PFAS Action Plans

Live in the Eastern Panhandle? Join us at one of four upcoming meetings to learn about PFAS in our drinking water and share your input on community action plans.

Why it matters: PFAS (“forever chemicals”) have been found in local drinking water systems, including Berkeley Springs, Charles Town, Harpers Ferry, Kearneysville, Martinsburg, and Summit Point. Long-term exposure may pose serious health risks.

These meetings are a chance to

  • Learn about PFAS and WV’s response through the PFAS Protection Act
  • Hear updates from WVDEP on local Action Plans
  • Share your concerns and ideas to shape solutions
