The Google for Education Pilot Program is a global program that provides K12 and Higher Ed schools and organizations early access to products and features across various Google tools - including emerging AI and generative AI products and features - to help inform the future of Google's products.

PLEASE NOTE:

• This program is for ENTIRE academic institutions (Schools/Districts) and is NOT intended for individuals. Only admins at your organization can express interest in joining the Program. If you’re not an admin, please contact an admin at your organization to express interest in joining.
• Companies, Partners, and Service providers are not eligible.
• This program is available globally, but some features may currently only be available in English.
• Completing this form does not automatically guarantee that your institution will be selected for piloting.  
• This Program is separate from Google Workspace Experiments (formerly known as Workspace Labs), Google Labs, Gemini alpha, and Early Access Apps.
• Once launched to general availability, features may appear in a different Google Workspace for Education edition.
• If you have previously been a part of the Google for Education Pilot Program and/or AI track, you will need to sign up and accept the new program terms again by completing this form as the program details and processes have changed.
• Participation in this pilot program is subject to the customer’s applicable Google Workspace for Education Agreement, including Section 6 (Pre-GA Offerings Terms) of the Google Workspace Service Specific Terms, as such section is amended by the additional program terms.
• Some features may require use of student data like assignment submissions. For these feature pilots, parental consent will be required as outlined in the program terms.

Feature Set Description

This Pilot Program provides early access to Google’s newest education tools, including emerging AI and generative AI products and features. The Pilot program will include features for teachers and/or students that can help with productivity, data-driven instruction, differentiated instruction and learning, study tools, and more.

Depending on the nature of the feature, pilot features will be enabled either for admin-created and managed Google groups of select staff, educators and/or students, or all users within a domain. Admins will be notified of the feature details and allowlisting process ahead of any new pilot feature launch, and can choose to opt out of any individual feature or the program at any time by emailing edu-pilot-program@google.com.

Optional Feedback and studies

• Optional Feedback: During the pilot, we may collect feedback. Any feedback provided is subject to the Google Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy, and may be used to improve Google products or services.
• Optional Studies: Participants will be eligible to participate in optional research studies throughout the pilot. Participants for these optional studies will be required to sign informed consents (to be provided by Google) prior to participating in research studies.
