Faith+Arts will be hosting our fifth annual EAST (East Austin Studio Tour) exhibit at Christ Church this coming November. For those who are new: this is a city-wide event that happens once a year – artists open their studios and galleries for free, chat with visitors, and can sell their art (if you wish). Hundreds of artists participate across the city. We estimate that we welcomed about 300 non-church visitors to our exhibition in 2021. It's a great opportunity to share/sell your work as an artist, AND for Christ Church to reach out to the city.

The 2021 dates are Nov 12-13 and 19-20 from 12-6 pm. You MUST commit to being present at least 75% of the time. This is because EAST is not just about showing and selling your work - it's also about relationships, hospitality, community, and outreach. If you have an extenuating circumstance that you think should preclude you from this requirement, let me know and we can talk about it.

If you're interested in applying as a visual artist for the Christ Church group show, please fill out this form. We are requiring a small fee from participants to help cover expenses ($20) – we'll collect this from you later if you are accepted.

Finally, please note that this is only an application. We'd like to include as many artists as we can, but an application does not guarantee acceptance into the show.

It's a really wonderful thing to be present during these showings. The days can be long, and taking breaks is certainly fine, but people show up to this event both to take in the work and meet the artists. The personal connection is important. If we have more applicants than we have space, those who are able to be present will be given priority.
