One-Time Volunteering:
1. Delivering and picking up applications for LITE
We need volunteers to help us deliver and pick up applications from 30 schools during October and April of each year. Applications are typically dropped off on a weekday and a volunteer spends 2-4 hours driving to schools.

2. Hosting workshops for college students
We are looking for 10 volunteers throughout the year to host a 1-time workshop on an area of business/financial literacy that would be helpful for students. Topics range from building a credit score, writing a great resume, mastering interviews, raising money, creating a personal brand, etc.You would be in charge of creating the workshop and then presenting it over a 1 hour period to students.

3. Partner feedback week/partner outreach
All of our high school students have to reach out to members of the community to get feedback on their ideas. We are always looking for people from every possible industry or job type to give feedback on different ideas. We recruit for these volunteers in August and January. The time commitment would be 1 hour.
More than one-time volunteering:
1. LITE Coach Mentor Program-
-Mentors work with high school students for 1 hour a week for 16 weeks in either the fall semester or the spring semester. Mentors help students build entrepreneurial ideas and learn career skills through a curriculum. Each mentor meets with a group of 6 students along with 1 other mentor and a staff member. Meetings are typically held on Sunday afternoons or Monday nights.
-We are usually looking for coach mentors in July to start with our August through December cohort and in December to start with our January through May cohort.

2. LITE Dream Team
-Mentors provide written feedback to students on emails, scholarship essays, executive summaries, and marketing plans.
-This form of mentoring is virtual and done through email.
-Mentors typically spend 1 hour a week (on their own time) providing feedback. The mentoring lasts for about 6 weeks.
-We are usually looking for Dream Team mentors in July to start with our August through December cohort and in December to start with our January through May Cohort.

3. LITE Social Media Team
-Mentors provide advice on how to grow social media profiles, create better posts for target audiences, and how to create a brand.
-Mentors provide 1 hour of feedback to 3 students for a period of 6 weeks.
-Mentoring is virtual and done through email.

4. LITE Innovation Fellows Mentors
-Mentors provide 1 on 1 life coaching on how to build career skills and achieve the students dream job by the age of 25.
-The Innovation Fellows mentoring is with college students and can be done virtually or in person.
-Mentoring is once per month for 1 hour for a period of 12 months.
-Mentors are typically matched with students based on career similarity, life experiences, how much the student can relate to the mentor, and past entrepreneurial experience by the mentor.
-We are usually looking for Innovation Fellows mentors throughout the year.

5. Student Event Team
-Due to the amount of events hosted by students, we are always looking for volunteers to help with going to an event hosted by a student and manage anything that might come up. Our staff will train you on the event, the student's responsibilities, and the important contacts you will need to know. Your job is to just show up and help the student if needed.
