*FYI: Filling out this form does not automatically grant you a Home Pass. Your Home Pass is not valid until you receive an email indicating that your application has been approved and your schedule in PowerSchool has been updated. You may have to schedule a meeting with Mrs. Comforto.
Guidelines:
- Home Passes are valid for 1 semester at a time. You must RE-APPLY for a home pass each new semester even if your study hall falls within the same block.
- Grade 11 students are able to apply to arrive at school late or leave school early if they have a study hall.
- Parent/Guardian Approval is necessary for the home pass application to be approved.
- Students should have a conversation with their school counselor and/or case manager (if applicable) about considering applying for a home pass.
- The Home Pass will take the place of a scheduled study hall block 1 or 4. This means students will no longer have a scheduled study hall and therefore will not be able to be on campus during that block. The class block in PowerSchool will read "Home".
- Students must have a vehicle registered at MMU or have a parent/guardian provide transportation. Students are not permitted to transport other students off-campus.
- Students are expected to sign in and out at the Welcome Desk upon arriving or leaving school.
- Once students have signed out, they must leave the school premises.
- Students must maintain a B- and above in all courses in order to maintain their home pass. Grades will be checked at the end of each quarter. Any student not meeting this will be scheduled back into a study hall.
- Failure to follow these guidelines will result in the loss of this privilege.
- Any exceptions to these guidelines must be pre-approved by administration.
