Lunchtime Webinar Series: Truma & Youth Homelessness
Friday 14th February 13.00 (Central European Time)

In many countries in Europe youth homelessness has been growing steadily. Young people presenting to services often have past experiences of trauma. Any solution that supports a young person to exit homelessness must not only care for their housing needs but be aware and treat the trauma.

This webinar will explore means and ways for addressing trauma in homeless services.

Dalma Fabian, policy officer at FEANTSA, will outline how trauma impacts the way people engage with services and highlight models that can be integrated into services such as Psychologically Informed Environments and Trauma Informed Care.

Sharon Gurr, the Rock Trust, will provide practical insights into how as a youth serving homeless service identify and respond to trauma in supporting young people.
