Trucking Division Fleet dispatcher for 2nd shift responsibilities include answering phone calls/emails and any driver calls between 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Monday – Friday. Being “On Call” every 3rd weekend at the OT rate if there are trucks on the road. Bidding any loads that may be requested by customers, Connecting with Customers regarding work for the next day or days following.  Maintaining notes throughout the day regarding any issues or necessary driver updates, communicating with the shop regarding any equipment issues, obtaining any permits that may be needed within 24 hours of permit being needed. Communicating with customers should there be a load issue or delay in delivery. Finally, completing dispatches as well as truck dispatches with correct information and sending it to drivers.
