SciCommJC Interest Form
Hello! If you are interested in joining our Science Communication Journal Club team, please fill out the following form.
SciCommJC team is comprised of volunteer members. Volunteers are expected to summarize a peer reviewed publication (at least once per year), present this summary by hosting a Twitter chat, and appear on a podcast recording. SciCommJC volunteers are also expected to fully participate in organizing and promoting our annual State Your Mission Challenge. Lastly, all members are held to high professionalism standards - clear and timely communication, respect for others' time and effort, and high-quality deliverables. SciCommJC reserves the right to dismiss any member who is not a team player and does not produce quality work.
Note: once our team reviews all applications, we will invite you to a video chat so you can ask any questions you may have and for us to get to know you better.
Please read the opening paragraph on this form and answer this question: How do you see yourself contributing to the mission of Science Communication Journal Club (please keep answers to <300 words)?
Approximately how many hours a month are you able to commit to SciCommJC?
