The Mad Hatter's Festival will be held Saturday, March 28, 2020, from 12p-5p at Riverside Park in Jacksonville, Florida.

Friday, January 10: Notification emails / Contracts sent to artists

March 28: The Mad Hatter's Festival

The Mad Hatter's Festival is a family friendly arts and crafts market with a festival vibe. It will take place March 28, 2020, at Riverside Park in Jacksonville, Florida. In addition to hosting a diverse group of talented creatives and small businesses, the Mad Hatter's Festival is the perfect place for budding musicians, DJ's, and artists from all genres, to showcase their talent.

*We have three spaces for musical artists.

Musicians may also conduct an artist talk or meet-and-greet after their performance. This component is optional, but highly encouraged. *We will have an area set up for you if this is something you would like to do.

Live performance is a very important aspect of our evaluation process which is why we provide you with the opportunity to present that to us either with audio or video clips. Please provide relevant Facebook, YouTube, or website links to help us make the best evaluation of your performance.

We will look for professionalism, originality, creativity, and suitability of materials for the Mad Hatter's Festival.

Completed applications and supporting materials must be received no later than 5:00 pm on January 3, 2020.

Accepted performing artists are required to sign a contract with Handmade Collectives specifying, among other things, payments, requirements and liability. Accepted performers grant Handmade Collectives and Humans Engaging Respectfully and Effectively Inc. permission to use submitted materials for archival, publicity, and web site purposes before, during and after the Festival.

The Festival does not pay transportation or housing for local or regional artists. Payments will be made the day of the event after the event ends. Each musician within a group of 2 or more individuals will be paid $100; or $150 for solo musicians.

Information packets detailing setup information will be sent to accepted artists 1 month before the event starts.

The Mad Hatter's Festival will be held at Riverside Park in Jacksonville Florida at 753 Park Street from 12-5 pm.
