REACH Foundation Grant Application 2017
The REACH Foundation of Rockland, Inc. is delighted to announce the availability of grant opportunities for the 2017-2018 school year. One of the REACH Foundation's goals is to support and enhance the educational experience of Suffern Central students. Once again this year, the focus of our grants will be with STEAM - Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. The REACH Foundation is looking for grant proposals that promote programs or exhibit projects that can be presented to the community at this year's STEAM Expo, but is open to reviewing grant applications outside of the STEAM purview as well.

On Saturday, March 3, 2018, REACH will be presenting their third annual STEAM Expo to the Suffern Central School District and community. This even will provide an opportunity for educators, grant recipients, students, community members and corporate sponsors to collaborate and showcase how they are engaging in STEAM. All 2017-2018 REACH grant recipients will be expected to present their projects at the REACH STEAM Expo this March. Displays may include student demonstrations, photographs, posters, models, or any other creative means to represent their innovative classroom initiatives.

In addition to the funds set aside by the REACH Foundation for classroom grants, this year we will be partnering for the first time with the district's Retired Teachers Association. An additional $1,000.00 has been provided by the Retired Teachers Association and will be available via this partnership earmarked for grants. All submissions will be considered eligible for these funds.
