Prairie ecology & conservation event
Please join us for an enjoyable day of learning about mid-Missouri's prairies and their importance to our local ecology and livelihoods!  
Participants can choose from a "naturalist" track or a "food production" track - or mix it up and do a little of both. Registration is free and all are welcome. 

Date: Saturday, May 30th, 2026
Time: 8:30 am field trips on the prairies south of Sedalia, followed by lunch and a variety of presentations at the Heckart Community Center at 800 W 3rd St, Sedalia, MO 65301
